It replaces the patchwork of country-specific accounting tools — FreeAgent for the UK, Pennylane for France, sevDesk for Germany — with a single subscription that covers all three markets natively. The platform provides invoicing and quotes, automated open banking feeds, bank reconciliation, expense capture with OCR scanning, multi-currency invoicing, and a full chart of accounts with journal entries. On the tax side, Finovo files directly to HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD), the French DGFiP for TVA returns, and the German ELSTER system — making it one of the few platforms with live government integrations across all three jurisdictions. For UK businesses, Finovo also supports the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), Corporation Tax preparation (CT600 + HMRC CATO), and Self Assessment estimation.
